Polish media reacted critically to the first official match of Zaglembe under the leadership of the new head coach of this team, former Dynamo Kyiv coach Oleksandr Khatskevich. Last Sunday, the team of the Belarusian specialist lost to Znich (0:1) in the 20th round of the Polish first league.

"On Friday, a big charity gala concert of the Zaglembe Academy was to be held in Sosnowiec. The initiative came from Rafal Collins, a celebrity who, having bought 0.74 per cent of Zaglembe's shares, gained absolute power over the club's sports department. However, the event was cancelled at the last minute, and the official reason for this decision was the arrival of a sponsor who demanded that the event be held in June.
This story proved to be a perfect illustration of the overall picture at Zaglemba. The first spring match of the team also turned out to be a failure, and instead of a gala concert the fans saw a spectacle of dubious quality, which ended with a deserved defeat against Znich.
Five new players appeared in the starting line-up, and on the bench appeared head coach Aleksandr Khatskievich, who had been invited by Collins and whom the latter rated very highly. The debut turned out to be unsuccessful. The team from Sosnowiec, which can be saved from relegation only by a miracle, or rather by a series of victories ("Zaglembe" is in the last, 18th place in the standings of the first Polish league and the team is separated from the saving, 15th line by 8 points, - ed.), looked bad. ed.), looked bad against Znich, and the kicks, which resulted in the ball flying into the stands, increased the irritation of almost five thousand spectators present at the game," says Sosnowiec Naszemiasto, which is devoted to the match between Zaglembe and Znich.
