Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden has responded to compliments from head coach Pep Guardiola.
After the Citizens' 1-0 victory over Bournemouth last week, where Foden scored the winning goal, Guardiola called him a world-class player and praised his versatility.
"I wouldn't say I'm a world-class player yet, but I have potential. To hear such an assessment from the coach is a special feeling for me. I still want to keep improving.
I'm enjoying the season and I'm in good shape right now, so I want to keep going. Maybe this is my best season, yes. It's the longest streak of games I've played. I'm also playing in a new position - more of an inside position and more in the midfield - and I'm enjoying it," Foden was quoted as saying by the Manchester Evening.
