Former Dynamo Kyiv and Ukraine national team forward Roman Zozulya, known for his active volunteer work for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has received a state award - the honorary badge "For Assistance to the Army".
"This is an incredibly valuable award for me. It is doubly gratifying that it is signed by the legendary Commander-in-Chief.
I never thought I was doing anything extraordinary. It is our duty to get involved as much as possible and help all our defenders, because only their contribution to victory is invaluable.
I thank the soldiers for the opportunity to be useful. Thank you to the volunteers for always being in touch.
Glory to Ukraine and its Heroes!" commented Zozulya on receiving the award on Facebook.
