Former Dynamo Kyiv midfielder and now a well-known Ukrainian coach Serhiy Kovalets has criticised representatives of Dnipro-1 for their recent statements.
We shall remind you that not so long ago Dnipro coach Yuriy Maksimov stated that about 70% of his team's players have already agreed with other clubs and now they can play with the fear of getting injured. In response, the commercial director of Dnipro-1 Vyacheslav Fridman said that he did not understand why the coach made such a statement and questioned what Maximov had said.
- It is recalled how at the end of the autumn part of the season many predicted Dnipro-1 to fight for the championship. But from the recent interview of Yuriy Maksimov we see that it is hard to manage the team, because many players will leave Dnipro-1 at the end of the season.
Although at the same time there was an interview of the club director who said: where did Maksimov get this from? When there are such questions and they are brought to the media, I think it is inappropriate. But we have what we have," UA-Football quoted Kovalets as saying.
