Fiorentina head coach Vincenzo Italiano is leaving the club after three years at the helm.
"These have been three great years that will allow me to leave a completely different person than I was when I arrived. I am leaving with a great experience for which I am grateful to the club, the players I have coached and all the Fiorentina fans.
The journey for me, even if we didn't manage to win a trophy, was great. I decided to leave because when you reach a certain level and you can't go any further, and the environment demands more from you, I think it's time to leave. We have to turn the page and make room for new ideas and new thinking - that's what I told the president," Football Italia quoted the 46-year-old coach as saying.
It should be noted that Fiorentina lost two Conference League finals under Italiano's leadership.
