Romania head coach Edward Iordanescu said what he thinks about his team's rivals in the Euro 2024 group and, in particular, about the Ukraine national team.
"All our rivals in the group are distinguished by their individualities: they have the best players in Europe, the best coaches. And they are experienced teams. Ukraine is participating in the fourth European Championship in a row, Slovakia - in the third. And Belgium is probably tired of the Euros. We will try to compensate for it with a lot of hard work and dedication.
As for our first opponent, Ukraine, as I have already said, is a team with a high level of individuality, it has players from the best clubs in Europe. The Ukrainian national team has 15-16 qualified players, including those who participated in the previous European Championship. Therefore, they have excellent experience and a complete advantage over us," Iordanescu said today while speaking to the media.
