- There are always emotions. I just want to thank the players. I now have a record of matches when we concede but win.
It is important for the players to get confidence that we are doing the right things. I am satisfied with the spirit of the team. I saw that after conceding a goal the players were upset, but they kept fighting. There were really a lot of chances in the second half, and we snatched this game.
- How did you change the team's game after the break?
- We made a very important point in pressing, we reorganized a little bit, and it allowed us to take the ball away more and create chances. There was a business tip, and the players realized that there was a chance. And I am satisfied that we used this chance.
- How was the national team different from the one that was in the match with Romania?
- I can not say that it was different. The players wanted to, but they really did not react in the first match as they did today. I can't say it was a different team. There was a desire, more inspiration - and due to this they scored goals. But I do not think that there was no desire in the first half. There was a loss of concentration and mistakes.
- What do you think about the youngest squad for Euro 2024?
- In the first match Taras Stepanenko played, now - Andriy Yarmolenko. We need to have leaders on the field, a balance of experience and youth. The age of a player is not very important to me. If he demonstrates his level - there is no difference.
- Mykola Shaparenko became the player of the match today.
- I can also mention Roman Yaremchuk, because he scored a goal and worked for the team. Everyone worked, I did not see any player who was not motivated. I do not like to single out anyone - I think that especially in the second half we played well on defense. All the players worked hard and did everything for the team.

- This tournament is very fast - it is very important to recover, to prepare for each opponent. As the game between Slovakia and Belgium showed, we can play against the Belgians.
