TheGolden Talentproject has compiled another monthly rating of the best young Ukrainian football players born in 2003-2004. This time, it was based on the results of May 2024, having traditionally interviewed more than 120 experts.

Photo by Yuriy YurievFor the third time in a row in 2024, Dynamo winger Nazar Voloshyn is at the top of the monthly ranking of the best Ukrainian football players in the U21 age category! According to the results of the regular survey of the Golden Talent project, the native of Kremenchuk scored 167 points and was 63 points ahead of the second in this rating (fellow player Maksym Hlan from Lechia Gdansk).
Experts of the Golden Talent project most often included Voloshyn in their questionnaires (68 times out of 124 possible), including 44 times at No. 1. Khlan has 50 mentions in the questionnaires (19 - under No. 1).

Central midfielder Oleksandr Yatsyk (Zorya) was slightly behind Khlan in terms of the number of times he was included in the experts' questionnaires (46 vs. 50), but the difference in points was greater (104 vs. 85).
An interesting offline dispute took place on the verge of the top 5. Four players at once gathered approximately similar indicators in terms of the number of mentions in the questionnaires: Bohdan Slyubyk - 38, Ilya Kvasnytsia - 36, Ilya Krupsky - 35, Oleg Ocheretko - 32. However, the difference in the quality of the places in the questionnaires (#1 - 3 points, #2 - 2, #3 - 1) allowed Krupskyi to be minimally ahead of Kvasnytsia.
But Ocheretko, due to the small number of first places, ended up lagging far behind. Although in general, he can count the spring of 2024 as a plus, as he got a decent playing practice at Dnipro-1 and together with the team won a pass to the European Cups. And in the last round, the all-rounder on loan from Shakhtar also scored a goal (a goal against Chornomorets).
