According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Massimiliano Allegri, who recently said goodbye to Juventus and is ready to return to work at the professional level, is considered the main candidate for the national team coaching position.

However, the option of replacing the head coach is not a priority. Gabriele Gravina, President of the Italian Football Federation, said that Luciano Spalletti will continue to work with the team.
