Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo said he hopes to play for his national team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

It is worth noting that if the Portuguese national team makes it to the final round of the World Cup, Ronaldo will become the first footballer in history to play in 6 World Cups during his career.
As a reminder, Ronaldo will be 41 years old at the time of the 2026 World Cup.
