The Dynamo midfielder, who has already scored two goals in three control matches at the Austrian training camp, spoke about his preparations for the start of the new season.

- We started preparing for the new season back in Kyiv, where we had two training sessions a day. At first, we had mostly physical activities, more running, less ball work. Having passed this stage of preparation well, we arrived here for the training camp and started working more on tactics, added more ball exercises. We are fully preparing for the resumption of the season and for the Champions League qualifying matches.
- The week of the Austrian training camp is over and a week is left before the first official match of the new season. What percentage of readiness for the start of the season would you estimate?
- We have already held several sparring sessions and have more or less gained conditioning. I think we are 70-80 percent ready. We have two more sparring matches scheduled and after them we should be fully prepared for the start of the season.
- These days, a lot of theoretical training has been added to the practical training. Is this a direct preparation for the Champions League qualifiers?
- Yes, of course. We analyze both our matches, working on mistakes, and Partizan's. We are preparing for the game with full responsibility.
- What are your impressions of the control sparring matches that have already been held?
- At this training camp, we play against very good teams. It's good that we have the opportunity to play with good opponents and assess our level.
- You are the team's top scorer at this training camp. Tell us what the secret is, how did you improve in this component?
- If you've noticed, I'm playing on the wing now. I manage to be in the right place at the right time. I manage to realize my chances and help the team win.
- The team will play its first home game of the season in Lublin. What are your expectations for this game?
- We hope a lot of fans will come. I urge those who have the opportunity to come to the stadium and support us. We will do our best to get a positive result.
- Who did you support in the Euro 2024 final?
- Two great teams met and played a very good game at the highest level. Personally, I was rooting for Spain.
- Who do you consider the best player of this Euro and the best young player?
- The best young player is probably Lamin Yamal, who has already broken so many records at the age of 17. And I think the best player is Dani Olmo, who scored three goals and became one of the best scorers of the tournament.
- Did you watch the Copa America final?
- I didn't watch it, I was sleeping. But when I woke up, I was very happy that Argentina won and Messi won the trophy.
