The head coach of the second-league Skala 1911 team, Mykhailo Basarab, reacted to the horrific crime. Mykhailo Basarab posted a post on his Facebook page.
"It's a shame that in a country where pro-Russian f***ers still walk the streets, people who are fighting for the Ukrainian language are being killed," Basarab wrote.
Currently, the investigation is working on several versions of the motives for the murder, including a Russian trace.
