French national team captain Kylian Mbappe has become the majority shareholder of the French football club Caen for just under 20 million euros, the Parisien newspaper reports.
Kylian Mbappe (photo: S. Gordon)Thus, Mbappe, 25, became one of the youngest owners of football clubs in Europe. Kilian bought out part of Caen's debts so that the club would not have any problems with the French financial authorities.
Last season, Caen finished sixth in the Ligue 2 standings.
