Italian Roma are as close as possible to finally formalizing the transfer of Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbik from Spanish side Girona.

Recall, the terms of the personal contract with the 27-year-old footballer Romans fully agreed last week (five-year agreement with an annual salary of 4 million euros, including bonuses), after which the Italian club began the final stage of negotiations with Girona.
Roma's first offer for the Catalans on this transfer was as follows: 30 million euros direct payment and another 5 million in the form of bonuses. "Girona" this did not suit - the Spanish club demanded to raise the amount of payment to 35 million euros and leave the proposed amount of bonuses unchanged.
As a result, Roma accepted such conditions, and last Tuesday, Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi flew to Spain together with Dovbik's Ukrainian agents to close the deal today, according to well-known journalist and insider Gianluca Di Marzio on his website.
Also, according to the source, Ghisolfi met with the striker himself and assured him that he will definitely become a Roma player.
