Former Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Tiberiu Gioane admitted that he suffered a stroke at the age of 24.
"I was at the training camp with Dynamo Kyiv (Gioana turned 24 in June 2005 - ed.). The loads were very high. I also had problems with sleep, but it stretched since my youth. There were times when I didn't sleep for three nights in a row before a match. But I could not refuse to play, even if I was not in the best shape.
Yes, many doctors after my stroke advised me to end my professional career, but I did not give up, because this is my way. And I returned to the soccer field very easily, quickly regained my form and was again in the starting lineup of Dynamo. In the first match after the stroke I scored a goal, and also gave a very good pass to Rebrov," - evz.ro quotes Gioane.
Recall that the Romanian midfielder played for Dinamo from 2001 to 2011, after which he finished his professional career at the age of 30.
