On the air of UPL.TV, Vladyslav Sharay, midfielder of Rovno-based Veres, summarized the results of yesterday's match between his team and Dynamo Kyiv (1-2) in the 2nd round of the Ukrainian Championship, in which he scored the only goal for the Bilo-Syni.
Vladislav Sharay- How do you comment on your curious goal, which was scored after a mistake of Dynamo goalkeeper?
- Yes, we can say that it was a curious goal. As I understand, there was a long pass, I ran to the end, so I managed to score. I hoped that Dynamo goalkeeper could make a mistake - and it happened.
- Why were there such different halves in Veres' performance today?
- I think, in the first half we were a bit scared, probably, because it is Dynamo after all. We lacked a little confidence in our abilities. But at halftime we talked to the guys and agreed that we would go on the field and show a completely different soccer. And I think we did it very well.
- Why did not you manage to draw this game, as in March?
- We lacked a little bit of luck, but Dynamo also had their chances, so I think they deservedly won today. I congratulate the Kyiv team with the victory.
