Advisor to Dynamo president Artem Kravets told about his position in the capital club.
- How did you become an advisor to the Dynamo president and how did your transition from a player to a functionary take place?
- To be honest, I didn't really see myself in a coaching role. I always wanted to try myself in a managerial position. It was very simple. We had a meeting with the president - first on the phone and then we met in person.
I showed my ideas, how I see some problematic issues and my vision of how to fix them. We agreed that I will start working at Dynamo in such a position where I will not have much responsibility for the time being. But one should start somewhere and move forward step by step. That's how it turned out.
- If it is not a secret, can you tell generally about your ideas, with which you came to Igor Surkis?
- I would not like to talk about specific ideas. Every club, and Dynamo also has something to work on and in what directions to develop. I just voiced my vision and ideas that can be used to improve something in the club. It concerns scouting of the first team players, U-19 and our academy. There are different points there.
If you compare me a year ago and now, maybe I would have done even a better project. But we are all learning. At that moment the president saw that my ideas are probably not bad and decided that I could start working.
