Former Dynamo midfielder Miguel Veloso has retired from football at the age of 38. He announced this on his Instagram page. Dynamo President Ihor Surkis thanked Miguel Veloso for the years he spent in the Dynamo team and his contribution to the club's victories:
"Since he joined our club in July 2012, Miguel has always been distinguished by his high professionalism and hard work.
He was one of the main, if not the main designer of Dynamo's attacks, he gave trademark assists and demonstrated leadership qualities. Miguel also worked well for the defense, doing a huge amount of work and giving himself 100% to the game.
I sincerely thank Miguel for everything he did for Dynamo and wish him success after his career as a footballer," Surkis was quoted as saying by the official website of the White and Blues.
