UAF President Andriy Shevchenko spoke about his return to Ukraine to work for the UAF.
Andriy Shevchenko (photo: uaf.ua)- I made a very important decision for myself: I said that I want to return to Ukraine and be in Kyiv, I want to help my country. I have adapted, I understand the situation. I don't sit still, I travel a lot around the country, I'm constantly in contact with people, I visit different regions, including dangerous ones. This is our life, we have to adapt. Each of us has to do the job we do best.
I really want us to win this war, for the country to become strong, for peaceful life to return, and then the main thing for us will be to bring back the fans and interest in football. I want the national team of Ukraine and our other teams to return to our stadiums," Shevchenko told Serhiy Zhadan on Radio Charter.
