This weekend are the matches of the 7th round of the Ukrainian championship of the season 2024/25. In one of them on Saturday, September 21, Dynamo Kyiv and Lviv Rukh met. The match was held in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy.

The starting interval of the match passed in an equal struggle, and the first goal moment was created by the guests - it was Kranospir on the 6th minute of the match who shot with his head from 10 meters, closing the flank pass, but directed the ball right into the hands of Buschan.
Dynamo had nothing at all in offense for a long time. Ruh also tried to attack sharply every time they intercepted the ball. For the first time the sharpness at the gates of the guests appeared only in the 25th minute of the match, when Dynamo's corner kick ended with Brazhko's shot from 14 meters, and the ball flew near the bar.
Closer to the 30th minute Dynamo managed to transfer the game to Rukh's half of the pitch, but even in these conditions there were no chances at Ledvij's goal. But the guests almost opened the score on the 38th minute: Buschan kicked out the ball directly to the opponent, and as a result, after a dissecting pass Krasnopyr went one-on-one with the Dinamo goalkeeper, but he managed to correct his mistake by parrying the shot of the Ruh forward with his foot. And after a couple of minutes Dynamo finally created their first really goal moment - it was Yarmolenko who broke through the right flank at the expense of Shaparenko's pass, shot to the goalkeeper's line, where Buyalskyi closed this combination, but directed the ball to the Lviv team goalkeeper. As a result, the teams went into the break with zeros on the scoreboard.
Dynamo started the second half very actively, but in the 49th minute of the match the ball ended up in their goal: Roman with a cutting pass led Krasnopyr to the left side of the penalty area and he managed to send the ball into the far corner of Buschan's goal. But this goal was not counted because of offside, which was confirmed by VAR. "Dynamo responded to this with Shaparenko's most dangerous free kick, after which the ball whistled over the crossbar of Ruh's goal.
In the next goal moment the guests were again as close to success as possible - it was Karabin who shot from the line of Dynamo penalty area and the ball hit the bar. But the response of the Bilo-Syni turned out to be symmetrical: Shaparenko made a technical strike from the left side of the penalty area of "Rukh" - the crossbar! Later the same Shaparenko shot from the central zone, from 12 meters, but in this situation Ledviy saved the Lviv team - he converted the game to a corner.
In the end of the match both teams tried to snatch the victory, but it was obvious that the players were simply tired. Nevertheless, both Dynamo and Ruh could score in this period of the match. First, Bragaru shot from the line of the Ruh penalty area - the ball flew just centimeters from the bar. And then Klimciuc hit the crossbar of Dynamo's goal with a header from 10 meters. And that was the end of the match - a draw, 0:0.
In the next round Dynamo will have an away match with Leviy Bereg. This match will take place on Sunday, September 29, in Kyiv region at the stadium "Arena Left Bank" (kick-off - at 18:00). And before that, on September 25, the Kyiv team will play the starting match of the main stage of the Europa League in Hamburg - against Lazio Rome.
