On October 14, Ukraine's U-19 national team (players not older than 2006) completed a four-team tournament in Marbella in preparation for Euro 2025 qualification.

In the semifinals, Sweden defeated England 2-0 and the Netherlands defeated Ukraine 1-0. So today the Blue and Yellows competed with the British for third place.
The English scored in the 7th minute - Oluseyi completed the combination. In response, our national team failed to realize two good chances by Synchuk. Later, Oluseyi made a double, closing the ball out to his partner. In the 36th minute, the Blue and Yellows reduced the gap: Shershen made a throw forward, Synchuk took the ball, moved to the center and put it into the far corner. Before the break, we can recall Ponomarenko's shot on target.
At the start of the second half, the teams exchanged inaccurate shots by Dippa and Osypenko. In the 63rd minute, Shevchenko missed a great opportunity when the goalkeeper parried his shot from a few meters. Later, the English goalkeeper saved after attempts by Lomaga and Synchuk. At the end of the match, Golambekis scored the final score after a corner kick, 3-1 in favor of the British.
It should be added that the Netherlands won the tournament in Marbella, beating Sweden 2-1 in the final.
