Defender of London’s Arsenal, Oleksandr Zinchenko, spoke about his conversation with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, during their meeting.
“Mr. President, this is not part of a script, but these words come deeply from my heart. All my relatives and friends feel the same. I don’t know what would have happened to our country if you hadn’t been here. Sometimes I try to put myself in Zelensky’s place, but it’s impossible. I don’t know that pressure, but looking into his eyes, one can see how hard everything is. It is visible in photographs when he became president, and on his face now. Every time I read the news, I pray for the war to end soon because I know how many people have died in this war,” Zinchenko said in an interview with The Guardian.
