Today marks exactly 1000 days of the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. No one could have imagined that the war would last this long. These are 1000 days of pain, loss, hope, and unyielding, heroic struggle. A struggle for peace, freedom, our homeland, the future of Ukraine, our children, and each of us. 1000 days that we have gone through in unity and resilience.

From the very first days of the war, FC "Dynamo" (Kyiv) together with the Surkis brothers' foundation has been helping the country to stand firm, rebuilding medical and educational institutions that were affected by Russian missile strikes, supporting our military personnel, border guards, and people in frontline and de-occupied territories. Trucks with aid are sent to all corners of our country — to the military, border guards, hospitals, orphanages, and the front lines.

The Ukrainian army regularly receives from FC "Dynamo" (Kyiv) and the Surkis brothers' Foundation vehicles (SUVs, trucks), specialized equipment, boats, reconnaissance drones, Starlink systems, camouflage nets, food, drinking water, and more.

It should also be noted that in October 2022, FC "Dynamo" Kyiv became a partner of the state fundraising platform UNITED24.

Already a month after the beginning of the full-scale invasion, FC "Dynamo" (Kyiv) announced a series of charity matches under the slogan: "Match for Peace! Stop the War!". The first match of this series was the game "Legia" — "Dynamo", which took place on April 12, 2022. As a result of this match, over 220,000 euros were raised, which were donated to organizations that support Ukrainian refugees. In total, during the first five matches, over 700,000 euros were raised for charity. In total, "Dynamo" held 15 matches under the slogan "Match for Peace! Stop the War!", which not only allowed accumulating about 1.5 million euros in financial resources to support Ukraine but also drew international attention to the catastrophic consequences of Russia's full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.

The club and the Surkis brothers' Foundation direct significant efforts and resources towards the reconstruction of hospitals, clinics, centers, and kindergartens. In particular, with its help, a clinic was rebuilt in the village of Hurivshchyna in the Bucha district of Kyiv region, and the destroyed department of the Chernihiv City Hospital No. 3 was restored, where the reconstruction of the X-ray department was fully financed. This became possible due to the charity match against the English "Everton", with the income of 250,000 pounds being specifically allocated for the restoration of the Chernihiv City Hospital.

In addition, the Foundation allocated 6,000,000 hryvnias for the restoration of one of the departments of a medical facility for cancer patients.

Another significant event was the signing of a memorandum with the "Okhmatdyt" hospital for financing the restoration of the entire outpatient department of one of the buildings, which was severely damaged during the Russian attack on July 8, 2024.

Moreover, the Surkis brothers' Foundation helped in the restoration of a kindergarten in the village of Byshiv in Kyiv region, which was destroyed by a Russian airstrike in March 2022, and also restored the building of Kyiv Gymnasium No. 154, which was damaged by an enemy drone explosion.

No less important is the assistance in the recovery and rehabilitation of our military personnel after injuries. Our club with the Surkis brothers' Foundation organized the prosthetics of military personnel, providing them with sports prostheses, and also donated medical equipment, dialysis machines, rehabilitation devices, specialized medical beds, mobile refrigerators, and more to hospitals and military hospitals.

In addition to assisting the military and medical institutions, the Surkis brothers' Foundation pays a lot of attention to humanitarian aid. 200 tons of water were sent to the Kherson region for people affected by the blowing up of the Kakhovka Hydro Power Plant.

For internally displaced persons, who were forced to leave their homes and move to other cities, as well as for vulnerable populations, food, personal hygiene products, and essential goods were organized for delivery. Large shipments of baby formula, porridge, and puree for small children were sent to needy families, hospitals, and orphanages.

We understand that the war continues and will not be easy, but FC "Dynamo" (Kyiv) and the Surkis brothers' Foundation continue to promptly provide assistance to those in need and will not stop until the war is over.
