As commented by Tribuna.com at the UPL, "Karpaty" and "Rukh" have not contacted the organization regarding intentions to merge at the end of the 2024/2025 season of the Ukrainian championship.

"At this time, we have not received any official appeals from the clubs addressed to the Ukrainian Premier League regarding the information on the websites of FC "Karpaty" and FC "Rukh" about intentions to merge at the end of the 2024/25 season," the UPL's statement says.
