Romanian media write with deep respect about the upcoming plans of the national team’s head coach, Mircea Lucescu.
The fact is that on January 16, a surgery is scheduled for the 79-year-old former coach of Dynamo on his right hip joint to treat coxarthrosis. But under these conditions, Mircea Lucescu has decided to remain active until the last moment. Instead of resting before the surgery, just two days before the planned operation, the coach will go to Antalya, where he will oversee the Romanian teams preparing for the spring part of the season, reports Fanatik.
It should be reminded that this is not the first surgical intervention for Mircea Lucescu. In the past, he already underwent a similar operation on his left thigh, which was performed in Kyiv.
