Today, information was announced in the broadcast of the YouTube channel "TaToTake" that Kyiv "Dynamo" failed to acquire two foreign players - 20-year-old Congolese central defender Krist Makosso and 22-year-old Chilean winger Gonzalo Tapia. However, as it turned out from Dynamo.kiev.ua, the stated reasons for the failure of these transfers are only partly true.
As for Tapia, this football player, who at the time of negotiations with "Dynamo" was playing in his homeland for "Universidad Catolica", agreed to move to the Ukrainian club. But then, after Russia dealt a blow with the intercontinental ballistic missile "Oreshnik" on Dnipro on November 21 of last year, he changed his decision. As a result, Tapia moved to the Argentine "River Plate".
In the case of Makosso, "Dynamo" offered his then-club, Belgian "RWD Molenbeek", a loan with a subsequent purchase of transfer rights for the player, but received a refusal due to the fact that English "Luton" was also interested in this defender and was ready to immediately arrange a full transfer (which, in the end, recently took place).
