The amount that "Shakhtar" can receive from "Ajax" for Matvienko is named

Central defender of Shakhtar Mykola Matvienko may soon move to Amsterdam Ajax.

The Dutch champions are currently in active negotiations with Manchester United for their centre-back Lisandro Martinez. For the 24-year-old Argentine, the English give 45 million euros immediately and 5 million euros in bonuses. Ajax hopes to bail out around €55 million.

Matvienko, whose contract with Shakhtar runs until July 2025, is now seen by Ajax as Martinez's successor.

The transfer of Matvienko is estimated by the Dutch side at 15 million euros.

It is also reported that Ajax scouts previously considered Matvienko not a high-quality option on the market, but now the situation has apparently changed.
