The United States intends to additionally transfer 25-30 HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) to Ukraine. Adam Smith, head of the U.S. House of Representatives Armed Forces Committee, stated this.
The United States intends to transfer another 25-30 MLRS "HIMARS" to UkraineAs you know, more than 10 HIMARS MLRS are already at the disposal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and in the near future eight more such combat vehicles should arrive in Ukraine.
At the same time, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov recently stated that in order to effectively counter the Russian military aggression and launch a successful counteroffensive, Ukraine needs to have at least 50 HIMARS MLRS at its disposal.
"HIMARS" is an American high-precision MLRS of the latest generation. At the moment, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have at their disposal missiles for this system, which are capable of "reaching" targets located at a distance of up to 70 km.
