"Dynamo" officially announced Duelund's temporary transfer to NEC

The 25-year-old Danish midfielder of "Dynamo" Kyiv Mikkel Duelund will spend the new season in the Dutch Eerdivisie club NEC from Nijmegen.

It is reported that Nijmegen wants to extend the deal with Dynamo regarding Duelund and is currently in talks with the Kyiv club. The Dutch want to take advantage of the new FIFA rules due to the war in Ukraine and sign the player for free.

— We should not lose the opportunity to take such a player as Duelund from Dynamo Kyiv for free. This is an opportunity that arises because of the situation in Ukraine and which everyone involved in the deal can agree to, said Nijmegen technical director Ted van Leeuwen.
