Anzor Kavazashvili— I will always repeat: Crimea is our country, it is Russia. We humiliate ourselves before FIFA and UEFA, kneel before them, waiting for some favorable decisions that we will be allowed to European tournaments at the level of clubs and teams. But all this is fiction. Therefore, we must immediately allow the football clubs of Crimea and Sevastopol to the second league of the Russian championship. And provide them with funding at first. This is the first.
And secondly, along with this, teams from Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Transnistria should be allowed. And especially for them to make the "South" zone. We have such a zone in the National Football League, and it needs to be diluted. And when the DPR, LPR, Kherson region become part of the Russian Federation, or autonomies that are part of the Russian Federation, then we will additionally consider the issue of clubs from these regions. And we will include these commands, we will not get away from this.
We are a single country, no matter how FIFA and UEFA blather at us,” Kavazashvili told local media.
Recall that the "Russian Championship" is a quasi-tournament, the clubs of which do not participate in any international competitions. The team of the aggressor country also goes there.
