Today it became known that Dmytro Fialka, a well-known children's football coach from Lviv, was killed by an enemy bullet during the Russian-Ukrainian war, reports the branch of the NOC of Ukraine in the Lviv region.
Dmytro's last place of work was Lviv State University. Before that, he is known for his work in Dynamo (Lviv) DYUFA, where he worked as a senior coach.
"Dmytro Fialka was one of the first who went to defend our state with weapons in his hands after the attack of the Russian invaders," reports the press service of FC "Dynamo" Lviv. "When the choice arose to defend his country, the football coach went to the front without hesitation."
"A person who was completely devoted to coaching and military affairs," Dmytro's friend Yaroslav Bits wrote on the social network.
