As already reported, last Friday the Ukrainian national team gathered in Warsaw to start preparing for the September matches of the League of Nations - against Scotland (September 21 and 27) and Armenia (September 24). By yesterday afternoon, the called-up Dynamo and Shakhtar players arrived at the premises of the Ukrainian national team in the Warsaw Mariott Hotel, who played their European Cup matches in Poland.
The Pitmen played in Warsaw, so they simply moved from another hotel or from temporary accommodation in the Polish capital, while the Kyivans made their way from Krakow, which took about three and a half hours. Andrey Yarmolenko, who, as you know, plays in Al Ain, flew in from Dubai.
Unfortunately, the flight from Larnaca, which was carried by Dnipro-1 players Artem Dovbik and Oleksandr Pikhalyonok, was late, so they did not have time for the evening training of the Ukrainian national team and met with their partners in the national team after the return of those from the lesson that took place at the club's stadium fourth Polish. division "Gutnik" (Warsaw).
The training was restorative. Head coach Alexander Petrakov decided not to divide the team into groups, so all field players worked together. The main task set today by the Blue-Yellow mentor is how to recover after club matches, which will be helped by post-training procedures, and psychologically switch to work in the national team.
After jogging and exercises, field players of the national team played tennis-ball. At the same time, goalkeeping coach Vyacheslav Kernozenko held a full-fledged training session with three goalkeepers who were now present in the Blue-and-Yellow camp - Anatoly Trubin, Dmitry Riznykomm and Evgeny Volynets.
Today, the Blue-Yellows will train together again and it will be a completely different job than on Friday.
