AS Spanish journalist Manuel De Juan commented on Ukraine's joining Spain and Portugal's bid to host the 2030 World Cup.

- As far as I know, it was an initiative of the Spanish Federation. This is such a symbolic gesture and more than just a partnership to organize the World Cup. People in Spain agree with this gesture. They took it quite calmly. Most people see this as a good symbolic gesture,” De Juan said in a comment to Sport24.
