Former Metalist head coach Miron Markevich recalled the period of his work in the team.
— Do you remember how many bronze medals you won with Metalist? And where are they stored?
— No, I don’t remember, but they are all kept at my house, in my personal museum. There are also pennants and everything else related to football. Among them are two bronze medals won with Dnipro. There is also a medal, which is especially dear to me, it was presented to me by Dnipro fans.
- Do you regret that during your work you did not manage to win a single title?
- Of course, it's a shame. I really wanted to win the championship. The closest thing to the championship was Metalist in 2013. At that time, we were five points ahead of Shakhtar, but in the off-season, Taison left, and something incomprehensible began. And so I basically started from scratch. I made teams, but, to be honest, it was unrealistic to win the championship with them. For this, one had to work either at Dynamo or at Shakhtar.
