On Friday, November 18, Dynamo played another match as part of the Youth Championship. Rivne "Veres" became the rival of Igor Kostyuk's wards. Despite the guest status of the match for the White-Blues, it took place at the training base in Vita-Litovska.
"Veres» — «Dynamo» — 0:1
Goal: Gusev (35).
Warnings: Filatov (63), Diallo (69), Kremchanin (77) - Romasyuk (79), Godya (86), Vadovsky (88).
"Veres": Mygal, Kozlyuk (Petrov, 85), Datsenko, Savchuk, Romasyuk, Shukh, Vadovsky, Ustimets, Zaiko, Vilkhovy (Pilipchuk, 73), Godya.
"Dynamo": Ignatenko, Gusev, Pain (Balaba, 76), Filatov, Kotukha (Bilokon, 89), Malysh, Yatsyk, Yanchishin (Zorenko, 69), Matkevich (Slesar, 69), Diallo, Dzen (Kremchanin, 46).
The leaders could not help Dynamo in the reporting match - defender Benedyuk, midfielder Tsarenko and forward Gorbach went to the location of the Ukrainian youth team participating in the Euro 2023 (U19) qualifying round. Also, Igor Kostyuk, who missed the match due to disqualification, was not on the bench, and Sergey Fedorov directed the actions of the wards directly from the coaching bridge.
The Kievans confidently started the fight against one of the outsiders, but the ball refused to fly into the net for a long time. Good shots went well for Matkevich, who tested the goalkeeper's vigilance with long-range shots, Diallo was active, and after Zen's header, which closed the serve from a corner, the opponent was saved by the post.
The Rivne team also did not throw all their strength into the defense of their own goal, and had several good chances to open the score. But still, the first ball flew into their goal. Gusev received a pass from Yatsyk and decided on a long-range shot, which the Veres goalkeeper did not expect, and the ball flew into the goal - 0:1.
Before the break, the White-Blues could well double their advantage. First, the goalkeeper pulled the ball out from under the crossbar after Zen's shot, a little later parried Yatsyk's shot, and Gusev, who played on the rebound, hit the post.
After the break, Veres goalkeeper Myhal continued to rescue his team. At first, he parried a powerful blow from Kremchanin, who entered the field after the break, subsequently coped with Diallo's shot, and in another episode he demonstrated his skills, preventing Matkevich from scoring from an advantageous position.
With a total advantage, the White-Blues could have missed the victory, as was the case with Kryvbas and Chornomorets. Fortunately, this time the opponent failed to score - in the last minutes of the game, Ignatenko saved his team, parrying Godi's shot.
As a result, Dynamo's minimum victory is 1:0, which continues to keep the White-Blues in the top three of the standings.
