Poland's goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny commented on an own penalty in the 2022 World Cup match against Argentina.

“We talked before the penalty with Messi. I told him that I bet 100 euros that the referee would not award a penalty. So I lost the bet. I don't think this is allowed in the World Cup. I'll probably be suspended, but I don't care. I wouldn't pay him anyway. He is not interested in 100 euros," Szczesny said in a comment to TV2 Sport.
