The condition of the legendary Brazilian striker Pelé has stabilized, according to Globo Esporte.
Recall that last Tuesday, the 82-year-old "King of Football" was hospitalized for a re-evaluation of the chemotherapy treatment for a colon tumor diagnosed in the ex-football player in September 2021.
On Friday, Pele was diagnosed with a respiratory infection, and yesterday it was reported that the Brazilian was receiving palliative care after chemotherapy stopped producing the expected results.
But now sources report that Pele's condition is stabilizing.
“Pele is responding well to treatment for a respiratory infection. There has been no deterioration in the last 24 hours," the doctors said.
