There is no unity in the leadership of the Brazilian Santos regarding the removal of the 10th number in all the teams of the club in honor of Pele, who died on December 29 at the age of 83, BandNews FM reports.
Recall that the Pele family, who played for this team under the "ten" from 1956 to 1974, applied to Santos with a request to withdraw the 10th number.
However, Santos President Andres Rueda said that there are some differences between the leaders of the club on this issue.
Andres Rueda will submit to the advisory board of the club a proposal to discontinue the production of the number 10 shirt, under which the legendary Pele performed, reports BandNews FM.
Rueda himself is in favor of removing the 10th number from circulation in Santos as a tribute to the legendary Brazilian, but so far he can only send a proposal to the advisory board of the club.
