Roberto Martinez became the new head coach of the Portuguese national team. This was announced by the team's official Twitter account.
Martinez stepped down as head coach of Belgium in December after the team failed to make it out of the 2022 World Cup group with Morocco, Croatia and Canada.
Martinez replaced Fernando Santos in this position.
