Polesia president Gennady Butkevich answered a question about why he didn't fire the team's head coach Yuri Kalitvintsev, despite the unsuccessful results.
"Kovid hit the team hard, the guys went out to play with a temperature of 39 degrees. We finished in ninth place, although if it wasn't for the war - we could have been somewhere fourth. The coach is very professional, I believe him, the whole coaching staff is worth to be patient and wait for the result. And it is already visible.
Did I want to enter the UPL when "Mariupol" and "Desna" got off? No, you should enter properly, deservedly. There were offers, but we did not go for it", - said Butkevych.
