He proved his worth in the team from the best side, then there were performances at the double. Appeared in the closest reserve of the capital club in 1971, it took him more than three and a half years to debut in the main team. However, away match with Alma-Ata "Kairat" in which he came on as a substitute in the second half instead of Leonid Buryak, was the only one played for the team Valery Lobanovsky.
