The UEFA governing council could punish Barcelona because of the Negreira affair, AS reports. The reason for the punishment is the reputational damage to the Champions League.
UEFA can suspend the Catalans for one season from participating in the country's main European Cup tournament. To make this decision would not even need a court decision.
