FIFA published the first ranking of national teams in 2023, according to which the Ukrainian team takes 30th place.

Our opponents in the Euro 2024 qualifying round are as follows: England - fifth (0), Italy - eighth (0), Northern Macedonia - 65th (0), Malta - 172nd (-5).
Thus, the national team of Ukraine has lost four positions in comparison with the previous ranking, which was in December 2022.
At the top of the ranking is the national team of Argentina (1840.93). Second place is France (1838.45). Rounding out the top three is Brazil with 1,834.21.
