Former coach of Dynamo Kyiv Oleksandr Khatskevich shared his impressions of yesterday's match between his former team and Shakhtar Donetsk (1:1) in the 22nd round of the Ukrainian Championship, which took place last Saturday in the capital.

— I have a more rational approach to the analysis of the match. Dynamo had a little more possession of the ball. It was a home game of the people of Kiev and, it is clear that they wanted to take the initiative. However, Dynamo's chances were hard to create, as they had been for a long time.
The same can be said about the game of Shakhtar. In this match, the game went more in the middle of the field, so there were no bright episodes.
- Did Lucescu and Jovicevich surprise you in terms of line-ups?
- Jovicic used to say that he has problems with flank players, but he skillfully uses the players who are available. It is not tied to any one schema.
Dubinchak played in Dynamo last match, Vivcharenko played today. Lucescu often changes flank defenders. He explained why he was doing this - someone is ready, someone else needs to improve their condition. Lucescu's opinion must be respected, he is an experienced coach. Therefore, there were no surprises in this match for me.
- Which of the players made you happy in this match?
- At the moment, there is no such player in Dynamo who impressed me. Maybe Buyalsky. But today he is still not in the best condition he was in before he was sent off in the match against Dnipro-1. Sidorchuk tried, he led the team. I can’t single out any of the young players.
I will not comment on the game of Shakhtar players, because Dynamo are not used to discussing opponents.

— There were no bright combinations from Dynamo and Shakhtar in this match. All goals were scored from long distances. Shakhtar scored after Neshcheret's individual mistake, and in Dynamo's goal everything was decided by Andrievsky's performance skills.
- How would you rate the refereeing? In the first half, there was a moment when the ball, after Benito's shot, seemed to hit Rakitskiy's hand, but the referee did not give a penalty.
- I never comment on refereeing. There were no obvious mistakes of the referee in this match, I think he coped with the game.

- There was no "Lion of the Match" in this game. Everyone played at the same level.
- Does this match fit the definition of a Classic Derby or is the intensity not the same as in your time?
- Let's not compare with the pre-war period, when there were full stadiums in Kharkov, Kyiv and other cities. It is clear that now the intensity is not the same, but thank God and the Armed Forces of Ukraine that the championship is being held - this is the most important thing. Also today, there is a rather large difference in points between Dynamo and Shakhtar, although in terms of the game, I would not say that the Pitmen are a cut above. Two absolutely equal teams played today, which is confirmed by the statistics.
— Who benefits more from a draw: Dynamo or Shakhtar?
— I think that this draw is more in favor of Zorya. Dynamo need not look back, but only look forward if they do not want to be left without medals.
- Who do you like most in terms of the game at the moment: Dynamo, Shakhtar, Dnipro-1 or Zorya?
- Of these four, I like Zarya the most. Van Leeuwen gave them attractive attacking football. They create the most chances at the other's goal.
- Do you think Dynamo will be able to win bronze?
- Hard to say. Zorya looked great in the match against Kolos. The Lugansk club has players who make a difference, so Dynamo will not be easy. But "Zorya" may stumble in further games until they have stability. However, Dynamo's problems, alas, have not gone away either - just as there was a headache with attack, individual skill and creating chances, so it remains. The Kyiv team needs a team spirit and goes to every game as if it were a final.

- Any attacker is dependent. Dynamo currently does not have players who can deliver the ball to him and give the last pass. Even Lucescu today does not have a solution to this problem.
- A lot of advances were given to Diallo, they even said that Manchester City were interested in him, but Lucescu is in no hurry to release him at the base. What can you say about the Senegalese?
“Let’s drop down from heaven to earth a little. We are used to giving a lot of advances to young players, but only a few of them get into the first team. In adult football, everything is different.
There is a certain level at which Dynamo must play, and the players must meet it. If Lucescu does not release Diallo, it means that he does not reach this level.
- A sore subject is Supryaga, who has not scored for a long time and stopped being included in the Dynamo roster. What is happening to him?
- This question must be answered first of all by Vlad. His agents believe in him. I also believed in him when he just came to Dynamo, but did not see the desire and desire to improve. I then told him: "Vlad, only through painstaking work can you achieve results." But why he stopped and he went into regression, you need to ask Supryaga himself and his agent Pirozhenko.
