Romanian midfielder Tudor Baluta spoke about why he never played for Dynamo Kyiv.
- I had a difficult time. I was often lonely, because my family, my friends were in Romania. It was not easy. A lot of injuries, operations, days after days, weeks, months spent in the gym. Away from the field. It was just a recurrence of an injury to the metatarsal bone of my left foot, then I had a problem with what's called pubalgia. I was looking forward to playing football again.
I was injured for more than half of my time at Dynamo Kyiv, and I did not have the opportunity to work with Mr Lucescu as much as I would have liked. He supported me from the first minute I appeared on the pitch, but circumstances were such that I did not spend as much time on the pitch as I would have liked. An extraordinary coach, with experience, which perhaps not many people have - and I felt and saw that in the way he prepared for training and matches. A great coach!- Baluta told the Romanian media.
