UEFA have opened disciplinary proceedings against both teams involved in the 2022/2023 Europa League final.
Roma head coach José Mourinho is facing charges of insulting/misdemeanour language towards a match official.
In addition, the Rome club are accused of the following:
- throwing objects;
- setting off fireworks;
- damage to property;
- rioting;
- Inappropriate behaviour by the team.
Charges against Sevilla:
- Running fans onto the pitch;
- throwing objects;
- setting off fireworks;
- inappropriate behaviour of the team.
It is noted that the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Committee will decide on the matter shortly.
