North Macedonia head coach Blagoja Milevski has spoken about his preparations for the Euro 2024 qualifying match against Ukraine, which will take place next Friday, June 16 in Skopje.
Blagoja Milevski"I am very satisfied with this stage of preparation. The players, although tired from the season at the clubs, have shown determination, a professional approach and great enthusiasm.
We tried to achieve a certain balance in terms of physical exertion and energy, which we will need in the upcoming match. At the beginning of the training camp we focused on physical preparation, and from June 10 we were concentrating on the technical and tactical aspect.
As for the opponents, of course, I know that the Ukraine national team is headed by a new coach - Serhiy Rebrov. He will change the game system, and it will make us more challenging, but, on the other hand, we are no strangers to it. The most important thing now is to give the maximum of training both tactically and physically", - said Milevski.
