Footballers of the national team of Ukraine, who can play for the youth team at Euro 2023, will go to the Ukraine U-21 squad only after the Euro 2024 qualifying match against Malta. This is reported by TaToTake.

According to the source, Anatolii Trubin, Ilya Zabarnyi, Heorhii Sudakov, Mykhailo Mudryk and Vladyslav Vanat will remain in the first team until the end of the next two Euro 2024 qualifiers.

Coach Serhii Rebrov is convinced that the national team should be the priority. That is why the youth team will prepare for Euro 2023 without its leaders.

It will be recalled that the match against Malta will take place on 19 June, and the youth national team of Ukraine will start Euro 2023 on 21 June.
