In the final match of the 30th round of the Ukrainian UPL championship between Minay and Zorya (0:3), a player whose name was not mentioned in the opening protocol came on as a substitute for the visiting team. We are talking about Dmitriy Mishnev, who substituted Serhiy Buletsa on 76 minutes of the match.
Now Zorya face a technical defeat. If such a decision is made, the final league standings will be changed.
As UPL president Yevhen Dykyi said, the situation is under control and no one is going to put the brakes on the "Mishnev case".
"Currently, we are waiting for the decision of the Control and Disciplinary Committee, so there are no changes in the league standings, which are available on the website of UPL.
Next week a meeting of the CDC is to take place, so according to its decision, they will be made if necessary. According to the regulations under disciplinary rules, a person who had no right to take part in the match, but did it, led his team to a technical defeat. Unequivocally: it has to be," Wild said.
It should be added that even if Zorya is handed a technical defeat, there will be no key changes in the standings. "Zorya" in this case will retain the third place, "Minay" will go up to the eighth line, and "Kolos" and "Chernomorets" will drop to the ninth and tenth positions respectively.
