Dynamo's first-team doctor Anatolii Zhuchka spoke about the medical examination that the players traditionally undergo before the start of the new season.
- First of all, all the players are very happy to be back in the renovated Dobrobut building, which they hadn't been in for a long time. We used to undergo examinations here, and now we have met many familiar specialists who were also very happy to see us.
As for the examination, there is nothing new - the same specialists, the same tests as usual. All the guys came in a good mood, with a desire to work and prepare for the new season. At the moment, no one has any injuries or illnesses, and I hope that everything will go as normal, and we will all go to the training camp in Austria in a good mood in a week's time.
- Not much time has passed since the end of the season. In what condition did the players come back from the holiday?
- Indeed, the break was not very long. The guys finished the last season in good physical condition, they worked on their own, so they should be in good condition.
- The WHO has officially cancelled the coronavirus pandemic. How will this affect your work?
- First of all, it is always good when any pandemic ends. Thank God, all restrictions have been lifted in our country and around the world, so this will make our work much easier, there will be less so-called bureaucracy. And many people have been vaccinated and have had the disease, so they have some immunity.
- Many players have played for national teams, and the youth players are playing at Euro 2023. How will they pass the medical examination?
- As always, with a delay. After their holiday is over, they will come to us, undergo a medical examination as usual and start working. No one will be able to avoid the medical examination (smiles).
